Project Overview

Richco is currently executing a watermain replacement program for the City of Coquitlam across two sites - spanning the Brunette/Coleman, and Rochester corridors. The project involves the replacement of over 1,180 metres of aging watermain across multiple pipe diameters, with 40 individual service connections and 11 tie-ins to the live existing system requiring precise sequencing to maintain water service to residents throughout construction.

Mid-project, Richco was awarded additional scope to remove asbestos-containing sanitary pipe - a reflection of the trust the City placed in Richco's commitment to safety and quality workmanship. The scale and complexity of this program, and the confidence demonstrated by that award, reflects Richco's capacity to self-perform large municipal utility contracts efficiently and with minimal community disruption.

• 1,182m of new watermain installed across 150mm, 200mm, and 250mm diameters
• 384m of 50mm Municipex water service
